B.K.S. Iyengar’s belief is that yoga is for everyone.

I am here to guide you and show you that you can practice yoga too.  Poses are held for longer periods of time and can be modified with props. By practicing Iyengar yoga, we can cultivate strength, flexibility, stability, and an inner awareness that can be shared with our outer world.

The invitation… I invite you to bring all of who you are, your intentions, fears, anxieties, excitement, love…and explore how movement can benefit your mind, body and spirit on and off the mat.

I have been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and have found that it has helped me feel calmer and it has strengthened my mind, body, and spirit.  I have practiced Hatha, Kundalini, Flow, and Hot yoga.  I have practiced in studios and gyms.  Ultimately, I found the one that spoke to me and graduated from The Yoga & Movement Center in Walnut Creek, CA.  Iyengar yoga is mindful, it focuses on alignment and helps me tune in.  I believe it is the best and only way to begin your practice so that you know how to be in a pose.
